Construction Updates

A Year of Accomplishment

December 8, 2017 – Everyone who has donated to our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization has brought us to the point where visible activity is now taking place on the Fresno Aquarium property donated to us in 2006 by the Roy and Betty Jura family. The giant fire protection water tank has already become a landmark to travelers along Highway 99 at the entrance to Fresno County after being delivered on June 27 this past summer.

Now, we need continued tax-deductible support to begin construction of our very first building.

1,668 large and regular concrete blocks already have individual, family or business names on them, but we need more – especially the $100 size to make our goal for starting the building in the next few months. All of these names will be listed on the From the Ground Up Campaign wall display, which will be prominent at the entrance to our behind-the-scenes tours in perpetuity.

Let your friends and family know that we remain committed to building this project DEBT-FREE and that every donation helps, no matter the size.

And don’t forget about all the students that Aquarius Aquarium Institute is touching each year with its popular educational outreach programs. We are grateful for all the support from our Charter Members that enables us to reach so many even as we work to build for the future!
