Kicking off another school year

Fresno County Office of Education Afterschool Vendor Fair 2014

September 11, 2014 – Aquarius Aquarium Institute staff (Katie Dezso pictured) met many afterschool program leaders at the Fresno County Office of Education’s 2014 Vendor Fair last week and shared our desire to reach as many San Joaquin Valley students as possible with our living tide pool animals and our standards-based programs for all grade levels.

There are still openings available for the 2014/2015 school year and we encourage all schools to make their appointments early since our schedule always fills up quickly.

At each of our presentations, we send out 2 educators who are trained to deliver fascinating information in a fun, compelling manner. Teachers are always pleased that we are able to engage their students even to the point where those children most apprehensive about sea creatures often gain a new appreciation and understanding of our natural world by having these animals right in their own classroom.

Taking the time for quality one-on-one education, Aquarius Aquarium Institute’s programs continue to bring kids closer to nature and motivate them to make good choices in their lives that make our Valley, and our world, a better place.
